Crypto Price Today: Dogecoin and Shiba Inu both lose up to 7% as Bitcoin slips below $24,600

The cryptocurrency markets primarily trading down due to concerns over the US financial industry’s unrest.

Ethereum (ETH) was trading below the $1,700 mark while Bitcoin (BTC) dropped 1.52% to $24,532. The 24-hour volume of BTC was $21.38 billion, a 21.37% decline over the previous day’s trade.

As market participants take liquidity concerns into account, Bitcoin is presently trading at the US$24,000 level, with a slight price decline from the previous day. Investors are also considering the potential of a European banking crisis due to worries about the frequently troubled Credit Suisse.

The price of other popular crypto currencies also decreased. While Dogecoin and Polkadot were selling over 5% lower, Polygon and Solana both experienced over 7% declines. The value of all cryptocurrencies in the world was down around $1.07 trillion in the meantime, dropping 2.71% in the previous day.

DeFi’s total volume is presently 7.71 billion, or 9.52% of the 24-hour volume of the entire crypto market. Currently, the combined volume of all stablecoins is $76.42 billion, or 94.36% of the 24-hour value of the entire crypto market.

The biggest cryptocurrency in the world by market cap, Bitcoin, was valued at $476.09 billion. According to CoinMarketCap, the market share of Bitcoin has increased by 0.53% since yesterday to 44.28%.
