On Tuesday, the cryptocurrency market was trading higher. Bitcoin (BTC) gained 1.48% and remained above $23,000, while Ethereum (ETH) remained comfortably above $1,600. BTC volume in the last 24 hours was approximately $26.82 billion, an increase of 12.78%.
“Bitcoin hovered above the US$23,000 level in the past 24 hours as bullish sentiment remained high in markets. The price increase could be attributed to BTC whales accumulating and increasing their holdings. BTC’s support is now at $22,900, while resistance is at $23,375. Ethereum, on the other hand, has been consolidating above the US$1,600 level.
The global cryptocurrency market capitalization was trading around $1.06 trillion, up 1.27% in the last 24 hours.
The total volume in DeFi is currently $4.8 billion, accounting for 8.55% of the total 24-hour volume in the crypto market. The total volume of all stablecoins is now $49.13 billion, accounting for 87.46% of the total 24-hour volume of the crypto market.
According to CoinMarketCap, the price of Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, was hovering around $444.88 billion, with a dominance of about 42.01%, an increase of 0.06% over the day.
Aptos gained the most ground among the top 100 stocks, rising more than 60% in the last seven days.
A combination of a short squeeze and Aptos’ popularity in Asia, particularly China, fueled this rally. Apto’s pump could have been influenced by the Chinese New Year, which was celebrated yesterday.
